Q. Is there a waiting period before I can transfer my domain?

A. Yes, newly registered domains are not transferrable to another registrar for period of 60 days from registration. This applies across all Registrars. But you can host your domain anywhere immediately. Hosting with another company or registrar does not require domain transfer.
