Q. If I were to transfer my domain, would the ID Protect feature still be in effect?

A. - No - ID Protect is linked to your domain registration so the ID protect would be lost since another registrar would control your domain and your domains whois output. ID Protect is linked to how public whois output diplays on your domain name.
